Maintenance

Attach the needle plate with red mark

on the bobbin case positioned as

shown in the diagram.

Tighten the needle plate screws.

Attach the presser foot and insert the

needle.

Check that the needle correctly enters the

3

hole in the needle plate.

If the bobbin case is not installed correctly, *

the handwheel does not turn smoothly. If this

occurs, remove the needle plate and bobbin

case, and attach them again.
